What does distance education mean to you?
Distance education means giving anyone the chance to recieve an education regardless of physical location or other limitations, such as working full-time or being a stay-at-home parent. As an online student myself, distance education is very important to me. Without the ability to take courses from home, I would not be continuing my education.

As an online student myself, distance education is very important to me. Without the ability to take courses from home, I would not be continuing my education.
While my status as an online student helps me understand the significance of distance education, I also find distance education valuable as an educator. I work full-time in a school that has transitioned to distance learning multiple times in the last year due to Covid-19. Without the ability to teach from a distance, the students at my school would have gone without an education for months at a time.
